Allo! Bonjour! Ciao! Hola!
I'm Stevie, great to meet you!
I’m a commercial & editorial photographer/director with a propensity towards the slightly (or very, at times) surreal, hyper-real or dramatic; Wether it is telling a story with a bit of humor or a bit darker and serious. I like impact. I like drama. I like the way things look better after looking through a lens.
When I get hired, I’m a creative partner. I'm your creative collaborator. I’m not just your photographer or director. I bring more to the table. That is incredibly important these days. If you have a vision, I’ll help you sculpt that into a production and bring it to life. I LOVE working with people.
Editorial portraiture is also incredibly rewarding wether capturing the character of a chef, celebrity, athlete, a random interesting subject or even something fashion oriented. I am currently based in the wonderful city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, but split my time between NY and Philly as well as LA while traveling extensively for my work, (mi amore).
Life is weird, anthemic, dazzling and well, all around extraordinary. Why make boring content?
The personal stuff? I'll start from the end. After a great shoot, I love sharing some good Tequila or Bourbon (Depending on the situation of course) with my team on a job well done singing bad songs together loudly. Hey sometimes a good quiet dinner is nice too. I like to be inspired, I like to inspire. I absolutely love the process. I absolutely love working with a team. I love working with talented creative directors and art directors. Ive lived a life thats afforded me the ability to see things in different perspectives. It's thus far, sculpted an open empathetic mind in various directions. I started when I was a bit younger now, playing music, being on the road nine months out of the year. For a while, I dreamt of being a professional snowboarder until I got hurt in upstate NY where I taught. I love to travel and experience different people and places. I know, its cliche, but I think it's also important for a healthy mind, and to be able to relate to the souls that share the floating space globe we call home. I love being in a studio, and being on location. They both feel at home.
Simply, I want to create incredible work and work with amazing people while providing a decent life for myself and family.
Drop me a line. Let's get to work! (and share some mezcal)
